She completed Bachelors of Physiotherapy from India in 2013. She has worked in India for 3 years before moving to Canada. Her work portfolio in India included patients with Orthopedic, Neurological and Sports conditions. She has also presented a paper on “Effect of Manual Therapy on Tennis Elbow” at the 3rd international conference on manual therapy held in 2013.
Monika specializes in providing treatment for a wide range of injuries and pain with particular interest in the treatment of neck pain, shoulder rehab, hip, knee and back problems. She excels at identifying root causes of pain, such as movement dysfunction, muscle imbalance and postural fault. She works with her clients to develop an individualized treatment plan customized to their very needs, with an aim to restore each client to their normal physical activity. She incorporates manual therapy techniques (including joint and soft tissue mobilization), modalities, therapeutic exercises, and education in the treatment of her clients.
She speaks fluent English, Hindi and Punjabi. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
